On February 12, Ava and I took our 1st road trip together to visit Uncle Brian in Malibu. Along the way we stopped to see cousin Ashley at UC Santa Barbara. It was a blast! I learned so much in that car ride with Ava. I learned that Ava wants a circle cake for her birthday with marshmallow frosting, a "pillow pet" (have yet to actually see one) and that she really loves her sissy Kait. The 4 hour day at the beach and the start of the biggest sand castle ever! The castle was so tough it withstood the overnight waves and was somewhat still standing the next day!
