Seacliff State Beach

So Ava took her camera on our run today. I promised her when we were done running we would walk on the pier (her favorite). Here are a few of the many pictures she took. I must say I am very impressed with some of the shots she captures on her dinky Dora the Explorer camera!

The stroll down the pier.

This is only 1 of the 15 pictures of birds she took...

A fish trying to make a quick get away! Sorry, but the fish will be on someone's dinner plate tonight.

Of course there are still pictures of feet...

And of course the traveling gnome is sound asleep!

Shopping Caught on Film

Ava's new thing is to take her camera EVERYWHERE!!! Today she took it to Bed, Bath and Beyond because we needed to buy a waterproof mattress pad for her big girl bed. It sure makes shopping trips go A LOT slower when Ava is documenting everything with her camera. These are only a few of the 30 pictures she took!

Look Mom... No Hands!

Well, almost no hands. Ava has learned to ride her tricycle all by herself (and can even steer it)! We are such proud parents!

Ava in action jumping down from the tree limb. She has no fear!

Her laugh kills me!!

Gizdich Ranch

Ava kept asking for cows, pigs and sheep... but all there was here were apple trees, an old tractor to play on and the best pie & slushies ever! We LOVE Gizdich Ranch!

Hello Gizdich Ranch!

Our Vegetarian

Is it salami or lamb chops? Watch and find out.

Success! I finally cooked something Ava enjoyed eating.

San Francisco

Today we ventured to San Francisco in hopes of going to the Academy of Science on "free day". I think everyone had the same idea as us, as the line to get in was over a mile! So instead of waiting in line for over an hour, we spent the day wondering about Golden Gate Park...

Our traveling gnome (Kaitlyn) & Ava in the Rose Garden.

Just Another Friday Night

Daddy teaching Ava how to hold things with her toes... Success! Just hanging out on the deck. Ava insisted on taking off her pj pants. What a cute bum-bum!

Mommy-In-Training

Step 1: Feed baby

Step 2: Burp baby

Obviously Ava has been closely watching me feed Kaitlyn.

P.S. This is what Jacobe was doing while all this was going on (Please refer to Jacobe in background of Step 1 picture)... He's going to kill me for posting this!

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Tuesday evening. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. All rides $.75. Not knowing that Ava rides for free on half the rides, we bought $20- worth of tickets. Looks like we will be going back every Tuesday evening for the rest of summer until the tickets are gone.

My handsome husband enjoying the People Mover with Ava.

Ava's new favorite ride. She screamed when her turn was over!

Ava's other favorite ride. What a big girl riding the rides all alone!

Ava's Perspective

Today we went out to lunch with Grandma Betty, Cousin Ashley, Great Aunt Barbie and our friend Chris. Of course I brought along Ava's camera because it is endless hours of entertainment for her. Her are a few snapshots she took from today. Ava really is getting the hang of taking photos.

Ava started to get a little antsy so I sent her on a mission to take a picture of a flower. Here is the photo. Not Bad!

A Day at the Park

We love spending time outside. Today we practiced soccer with Ava!

Ava holding her new pink & white soccer ball. I told Jacobe he didn't have to buy the pink soccer ball but since we now have two girls "...it just makes sense" I was told.

The Shortest Parade in the World!

Happy 4th of July! Ava and Kaitlyn enjoyed their 1st ever 4th of July parade in Aptos. The parade is actually called "The Shortest Parade in the World" as it is less then a mile long.

Ava enjoying the view in Daddy's arms.

Hanging on for dear life on Daddy's shoulders. It's a long way down!

Pump'd

Today we ventured to Pump'd Inflatable Fun House in Watsonville. This place rocks! It's a giant warehouse filled with inflatable jump houses, slides and obstacle courses. It was a blast! We had so much fun with our friends!

Ava and Hayes climbing away on the obstacle course...

All this fun for only $7-! What a deal!
